As a Liverpool fan i would not have give a fig roll for their chances at the start of the season but despite not playing at all well and dropping points at home the likes of manure and Chelsea consistely fail to take advantage!

With the manure off to Tokyo now and the return of torres imminent plus Chelsea being hopeless at the bridge could it be Liverpool?

i realllly hope soo... but .. i really dont think Liverpool will do it, if we keep drawing and not winning..... it will b hard. we're lucky that Chelski and Manure drew this weekend.

but u never know... bring torres back and if keane gets his confidents back, and our midfield contributes the goals then there will b high hopes :) xx
I wouldnt discount chelsea, theres a long way to go yet
I hope so.

I'd hate to see Chelski win it, and Man Utd are not hoovering up the points like they should be.

Its time Liverpool won the title, it is wide open at the moment, but there seems to be something just not right with the team, Benitez's team selections at times seem very odd, it could lose them the title,
Chelsea won't win it until Big Phil gets that midfield sorted out. You CANNOT, not EVER, NEVER, play Deco, Mikel, Ballack, Lampard AND Cole in the same team and expect results. It might work away from home, where home teams are expected to "come out of their shell", but at home any well-drilled team is going to contain a side whose line-up consists of what has effectively FIVE central midfielders. It's really a case of square pegs in round holes. Another problem is the lack of strength in depth. Kalou and Malouda could both do a job out wide, except they are not good enough.

Anyway, returning to your question,Liverpool could win the title, but they won't. My top 4 at the start of the season was 1. Man U ,2. Chelsea , 3. Liverpool, 4. Arsenal and I ain't seen anything yet to make me want to change my mind.
Yoy've got more chance of being Mugged by a Nun.!!!!
it's a long season bob
it could be liverpool's year if you can keep torres and gerrard fit.
both of them are so important to liverpool as well as jamie c, only time will tell mate but i think the red devils will come good like they always do and win. it still never mind
I am not a liverpool supporter, but I am an admirer of them. Sounds strange, but in my opinion they lack incisiveness up front. Torres is off the boil, Keane can't score goals and Kuyt lacks pace. They do not have the ability to go for the jugular when it requires. Gerrard is ina class of his own, but you cannot expect him to score 20goals this season from mid-field. Good luck anyway.
No chance, 4th place in the league, semi finals in the FA Cup, and semi finals Champions League

Sh!t season for Liverpools expectations but with a manager who spends 20m on Robbie Keane and leaves him on the bench and a squad too worried about being burgled during games what do you expect?
