Week 17? That, as near as damn it, a third of the way through the year! Where did all that time go?

A 'middling' start for me this week, with FOUR out of seven in the main quiz:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-61248899

. . . but I couldn't even manage that in the junior quiz. A substandard 'bare pass mark' of just TWO out of five for me there:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

Close to the middle again for me in the Timed Teaser, with FIVE out of ten:

Your turn, folks!

4/7,3/5,7/10. Robbie is saying get on with the typing so he can have more cuddles. Hope you and your kitties are behaving
4 for me. All lucky guesses.
All 4s for me this time
Good Evening, Chris
I hope you and your lovely cats are all doing well!

Guesses all count, Sandy ;-)

Decent enough scores then, Toorak. Indeed, you're a near-perfect kid this week!
;-)

Good scores in general, Campbellking, with two middling ones and one particularly good one. If Chequers wants fuss, he'll totally stop me from typing to get it. For example, last night I was trying to type a long email to Woodelf when Chequers decided he wanted his tummy rubbed and rolled over on top of my keyboard to make sure that I couldn't fail to notice that fact ;-)

My kitties rarely behave. I never behave.
;-)
6/7 4/5 and 5/10 ( I know I know !, some lucky guesses ).
sorry to butt in, but can Buenchico help TEDDYC?

Good evening, Karamia. I've beaten you by a single point in one quiz, you've beaten me by a single point in another one and we're level in the the third one. I reckon that counts as 'all square' then.

Actually, 'all square' is probably the way my mates described me at college as well. They were all wearing sweatshirts and jeans, while listening to rock music, when I was wearing a collar and tie with formal trousers, while listening to the New Seekers. I was never very 'hip' ;-)
Lucky with a few, Toorak.

[TW: I'll take a look in a moment].

Ruddy 'eck, Tony! Can I have some of what you're on, please? A near-perfect grown-up, a near-perfect kid and a passable sprinter! WELL DONE!

Good evening, Patsy. Well done on sneaking just one point ahead of me at the final hurdle ;-)

Hope this finds you well ; ))

Good evening, Sam. It seems that I've just sneaked ahead of you by a single point this week but that's only what politicians would refer to as a 'statistical anomaly', I'm sure ;-)

I'm "not bad for an old 'un", thanks. I hope that you're winning the battle with life's little troubles too ;-)
6/7
2/5

Bit of a shock with the adult one then it went south with the kids one! Lol
The same scores as you, 4, 2 and 5.
Question Author
Well done on being a near-perfect adult, anyway, Tigger! You'll have to save being a superkid for another week ;-)

Welcome to the elite, Milo2 ;-)
Four and four this week. Thanks for posting Buenchico.
Four again, on the timed.
