No, Cameroon will not be banned from international football.
FIFA need to take quite a number of factors into account though in assessing the level of punishment.
Ever since VAR technology was introduced to football there have been countless complaints of injustices and misinterpretations by officials. One such glaring example was in the Men's World Cup final last year when France were awarded a penalty in farcical circumstances.
Players, however, cannot take matters into their own hands and it is up to the referee to take a firm stance and the Cameroon coach should have set an example.
It will be interesting to see the outcome here...

One player did not elbow the other because of her ethnicity, she elbowed her because she wanted to hurt a member of the opposing team.

There is no excuse for the players behaving as they did, and some nasty play that went unpunished, but there is footage available to suggest that one side was dealt with more harshly than the other in that respect at least.

That may well be the case, but that does not indicate that any bias was a result of a favouring of one team over the other simply on the basis of ethnicity, and that is what would be needed in order for a charge or racism to stand up.

Anyway, this tournament, what I've seen of it (very little), shows that the women are as equal as the men in one aspect: they can't accept the decisions of the referee, and argue with the officials if any decision goes against them. Just like the men. Equality comes as a negative.

It was a shocking display of petulance and a loss of control from almost all of the Cameroon players.
I'm not sure a ban from international football is the way to go but, someone needs to give the Cameroon FA a stern talking-to to ensure that such disgraceful behaviour never appears in another match.
However, whoever thought that trying out a raft of new rules and introducing trial by VAR into a premier competition like the WFWC needs taking behind the bike-sheds and given a thorough kicking.... >:o(

The off side and handball rules are extremely flawed and need rethinking through. The problem with VAR is that it ends up enforcing those bad rules. When VAR is used in the English Premier League next season it is going to be terrible. The flow of matches will be disrupted, and each half will have 10 minutes extra time caused by waiting for VAR decisions.
The Cameroon team were a disgrace and indisciplined. I assume the Cameroon FA will get a fairly hefty fine but no playing ban.
The charge of racism is clearly a desperate excuse. There were bad refereeing decisions, but I could see no evidence that they were anything more than incompetence, and cowardly officiating.
If anything the Cameroon team had some positive discrimination on their side, how otherwise to account for two indisputable sending off offences being punished with just a yellow card?

I don't think the Men's game will stand for the constant interuptions or the trivial 'infringements' which can result in free kicks/penalties.
A VAR interuption can take anything up to 6 minutes to resolve. I understand the rationale behind the new system but it really needed trialing elsewhere first and refining before it was rolled out into competition like this.
