They are not impartial. Maitliss, Derbyshire and Sharma laying it on thick.
Have you just discovered that, Fender?
//one would think its being run by the hard left or lefties //

It is.
Didn't Trump blank them at his inauguration bash after they had spent months campaigning for Clinton?
I was watching the coverage on Beeb 24 last night and it seemed pretty even handed

Jackdaw33, i did..but they are laying it on thick, corbyn is speaking
he lefty agenda of multiculturism and its utopia, and not its crime nor it's religious divide usual suspects, must be a lot of unemployed in the crowd...or there all on very good wages.
Question Author
corbyns speech well what can i say, seriously deluded or raving loony
idealist perhaps, i was waiting for we shall over come from the crowd.
I'm sure there are plenty of lefties who think the exact opposite about BBC bias.
Impatialiy, check out all UK media from the viewpoint of "the other side" when the UK is in some form of dispute with that country or some institution there. Jingoism might be nearer the mark.
*impartiality
They're certainly closer to balanced than the right wing lunacy that passes for responsible broadcasting from his fan club back home.

I suppose, and it's a long shot I know but, people post about our national broadcaster being 'hard left' because they're staring at the screen but not taking everything in having decided on their (lifelong) position and will not move from it.
Its disgusting that the BBC are poking fun at Trump through the Victoria Derbyshire programme, if its meant to be funny or satire it is neither, just disrespectful, and all those in London protesting today should thank their lucky stars that thousands of men and women from this country and the USA gave their lives for our freedom.
To all the protesters, including Corbyn, Abbott and Thornbury, shame on all of you!
Well said, SP

You must have been out putting the kettle on, Woofy. You obviously missed the bit where Simon Schama expressed his hope that the "Queen had some hand sanitizer in her handbag" following her handshake with the President or where he suggested that the visit was a "worthless and pointless occasion". You must have also missed the entire Victoria Derbyshire show, where she had a miniature version of the pathetic and childish "Trump Blimp" alongside her in the studio. I must have missed the bit where the BBC scolded Sadiq Khan for calling the President a Fascist and the bit where they took Mr Schama to task for likening him to Mussolini.

Apart from that it was a truly balanced coverage. I look forward to the BBC's coverage of Prince Charles's coronation where they comment on his views on "Climate Change" as the Archbish is lowering the Crown onto his head.
The whole Brexit and Trump thing has shown me how biased and dangerously manipulating the media really are, scary really as I had never noticed in the past, I can see why Trump shouts 'Fake news' so much.
pretty standard ABBC coverage, disgusting popinjays.
It's a shame that ABERS get so touchy about the bloody war because people are protesting trump. Remember, they are protesting "Trump"... Not the president of the USA. It just happens the buffoon is both. Makign everythign about war, or a homage to war, is in my opinion, a bit cringe. I get ur from a different era but jhee people are protesting a misogynistic man who some consider racist, dangerous and a promoter of hate speech. These protests have nothing to do with the war, and it's awkward you're bringing the war into these protests.

Power of the people, let them protest.
Corbyn's acolytes think the exact opposite about the BBC. Funny that.

Basically if anyone on it is saying something that somebody doesn't like, they complain that it's biased.
"It's a shame that ABERS get so touchy about the bloody war..."

Nobody in this thread has mentioned the war. This is about the impartiality (or otherwise) of the BBC.

spath, Makign everythign about war, or a homage to war, it's the 75th anniversary of d-day canada will also be doing the same, it's not a homage more rememberance if you will, not triumphalism and hung go more we give thanks to the fallen.
I have no allegiance to any political party but what Brexit and Trump have shown me is that most if not all of the media seems to have an agenda to peddle. Gently influencing viewers with their version of events, editing to suit the agenda articles, deliberately not reporting on articles. This is not just the BBC, this is the newspapers and most of the TV channels. At least China and North Korea are open about their control of the country's media.
