Simple and shows respect, good one.
There was mention of all the Prem League 'keepers wearing the same type of shirt Banksy wore in the '66 final. That, too, would be a very fitting tribute to a footballing legend.
Wouldn't it be something if the goalkeeper pulled off a Banks miracle save!

That would be a miracle, AGC. This is Stoke. Not doing well at the moment. :-(
No they aren't Tilly sadly.I thought they would have been safe in the Premier longer than they were.

They did manage a draw though. :-)
Saw this earlier in the week Tills. Proper respect for a proper bloke. My nephew was on the Beeb last week, rolled up with a mate to pay homage at the statue and got buttonholed by a reporter. His dad(brother) posted me the link and the interview. I was delighted to hear that he spoke lucidly and very eloquently despite him being only 22yrs old and never having seen Banks play. Stoke mad mind. Good lad. Gotta get back to the rugby...…"she who must be obeyed" is not a happy bunny.
