Hi everyone - having received an email reminder from Sky, I've restarted our League for the coming season.

Head for - https://fantasyfootball.skysports.com/

Once there, "How to Play" gives you all the info you'll need -

https://fantasyfootball.skysports.com/#howToPlay

Now pick a team (or two) - yourself or allow an automatic selection. Whichever option you choose, don't worry, you have unlimited transfers until the start of the season on Saturday 13th August. The budget has been increased this year to £100 million per team.

Name your team, then join the League - ours is called "AnswerBank" & the PIN you need to enter is - 8188786

Once your team has its own page, you can change its visibility between "Public" & "Private", depending on whether you want others to be able to see your selection.

The following link can be useful (though as they point out, not necessarily definitive) to check for injuries and suspensions prior to game days -

http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/fantasy-football-injuries/

I think that's covered everything needed to get the League under way & I wish everyone fun & good luck for the forthcoming season! :-))

With a fortnight to go until kick off, another weekend bump...

We really need more than 11 teams - where are last season's managers hiding? Are the Eds & Techies going to enter teams this year? Could Merlin or Frankie win the league for Wolfie?

These questions need to be answered...
Just entered my team - 'Carrot 'n' Booze' - which is there for all to see. I've nothing to hide:-)
Nice one ken. I will have a look later..Haha Claret and Blues:)) All Burnley then??

Hi Ken - good to see you back :-)
Only one Super Claret in there, Togo, and it's not Andre Gray:-)
Nicely balanced team ken. Just a tip if you want to hide your selections from prying eyes you can call up your team and "change visibility" to locked. Then no one can see who you have chosen or who you transfer in or out. You may as well pick another side as well while you are at it. You will see that some of us have indeed selected 2 teams.
Hi all, I changed my system generated team (Hugo Mugget!) last Tuesday to my own selected players and left it for all to see so those who want to join for fun but know little about the players have an idea who they might want to bring in.
I've being off-line myself since last Tuesday I did think a few more would have joined since then. (Nice to see you on board Ken) I think after the weekend coming we'll gather a few more players.

Maybe Mighty has done a runner with the cup. Like United did with the FA cup back in 2000 ;-)
I have had a look at my selections Arks, with a view to tweeking it. Please correct me if I am wrong, but you cant see the list of players and values until you take someone out of your team. Therefor to browse and look at the new options, ie players moving to the prem. from abroad you have to decide to remove a player first. Last year the list of players and their values were there at all times, plus info on injuries and suspensions etc. Hope you are good Arks. I have just chosen a team from the each of the 4 lower divisions to have a little seasonal punt. Kens Burnley did me OK last year.
Hiya Togo. Yes you are correct, I've just had a play around and can't find a way around that. When I altered my team last week I knew the players I wanted to bring in as an eg. (Woah some bright spark trying to ban 'eg...')
I digress, a little awkward not being able to see them at same time I agree.

I'm good thank you, was off-line due to technical problems back at base.

Disclaimer, No technological technician has being harmed since or during this post... or last week ;-)
That's a bind then. Looks like you need a printed list of your teams and individual values and a full up to date list of available players to be able to have a ponder before hitting transfer. Hmmm I will have a think about that one.
Will most likely enter another team a bit nearer kick off time. Not bothered who sees my players, Togo, like i said, i have nothing to hide. Why, i even hang my boxers on my washing line - after i've washed 'em, of course:-)
Surely all you would have to do is to log on to Sky and make as if you are entering a new side, thereby enabling the site to show all the players and their values. I have the values of all my players written down so that when i come to make any transfers, i will know exactly who i can and cannot afford.
Hey I'm an animal lover, that sounds cruel ;-)
Ken I have just done that very thing and was about to post the solution. What I have done is access the site as a new player about to choose a team. I have then saved that page in my Favs/bookmark. Then I can open up my teams and view them in one tab, and open up a new tab with the saved page listing the players and switch from one to the other and browse before making any selections. Great minds and all that. :)) I don't know how it will operate though at busy times when the site is rammed.
Not THOSE sort of boxers, Ark:-)
Interested in your seasonal punt, Togo. I've only done one so far - i usually do a few - and mine is, Arsenal @ 13/2, Sheff Wed @ 16/1, Oxford @ 16/1 and Plymouth Argyle @ 14/1. Raise a few eyebrows maybe, but i've chosen these sides because i've done a Lucky 15 and each way acca. If all 4 are placed i get just under £300. If all 4 win, i get a meagre £60K - as if:-)
I will be doing Norwich, Bradford, Plymouth, and Tranmere ken. Lucky 15 also, don't know the odds yet. But I am going out shortly to set it up. I have a bet on the Prem every week and will do a bit of Stoke e/w. Kick off in the Championship this Friday.
I've just done another, a £1 patent, £1.50 e.w. treble on top scorers in the Champ, Div 1 & 2; Forestieri (Sheff Wed) @ 25/1, Madden (Scunthorpe) @ 12/1 & Akinde (Barnet) @ 12/1. All place gets me £174 - all win gets me £12,261:-) :-)
Hammer's down ken Norwich 9/1, Bradford 12/1, Plymouth 12/1, Tranmere 6/1. All win their divisions £76K all placed £650. Lucky 15 and an e/w acca.
Perhaps we should let the thread go back to Fantasy Football for a while ken LOL. Lie In's link on his original post is useful for injury info and suspensions, again I have saved that in Favs./Bookmarks for easy access.

Morning all - I have a Q & some info.

Question - re Togo @ 13:51 above? How did you do this? I started to set up a new account with new email then failed when it came to postcode/address, as I was told an account already existed there and "this account is closed - contact Support". Did you make an address up or use a friend's? If not, what? My L-i K account is now active, so no harm done it seems.

My info is regarding the lack of detail available when transferring players. I emailed the query to Sky & got this message back -

"The only way to currently view a list of players on the website is on the transfer page I'm afraid. A stats page will be added to the website in the next few weeks and this will allow you to view players by position etc without accessing the transfer page."

I'm not sure if that sounds like the kind of info we had available last season, but I guess we'll muddle through :-)
