Wrong man sent off at Old Trafford yesterday. Have the top referees in this country got some kind of "who can make the biggest ***-up of the season" competition?

Refs-the lowest paid on the field,make least mistakes.Reviled by the likes of Shearer who never made a mistake in his life (unlike his mother).

if there were two tackles at the same time shouldn't he have sent them both off?

I agree there have been too many incidents lately and it does seem to b getting worse. In respect of the Wes Brown incident, the referee was in a dreadful postion to make the decision (following directly behind play when he should have been more to the left or right to get a better angle).
