He resigned, citing upcoming knee surgery as the reason.
Allegedly... he's stepped down because he needs a Knee operation. Nothing to do with Rangers' failure to bring in any new players in the Transfer Window last night.

Spurs, now QPR, looks like a downward spiral for Rednapp.
I don't know much about football, but I thought this had the whiff of a terrible excuse about it.
At his age, it sounds a most reasonable "excuse" to me.

I wish him a successful operation and a speedy recovery.
It IS a very reasonable excuse, canary, but like Cloverjo says, there's just a whiff of an excuse, because QPR couldn't get anyone else in during the transfer window

- Aaron Lennon going to Everton from Spurs (with QPR and Stoke hot on his heels)
- Emmanuel Adebayor not wanting to join QPR on loan / being told not to join QPR (Allegedly)
- Being offered West Ham midfielder Matt Jarvis, but not being able to sign him on loan (Thanks to the Premier League Rule about not having two players from one club on loan) because they already had Mauro Zarate. Zarate then went back to West Ham (Minor injury to Andy Carroll and Carlton Cole joining West Brom) and it meant there was no time to sign Jarvis/the Premier League ruling

Will Bournemouth be his next club ?
Can't see Bournemouth sacking Eddie Howe in the foreseeable future, x-ray, even if he took them up and straight back down again.

I have no doubt that 'appy 'arry will get another job in the Premier League when he's fit and ready.
I like 'arry' I didn't know the reason why until I read it on here, I just heard about it (Standing down) on 'Talksport'

Like Cannary says, I wish him a successful operation and a speedy recovery.
