This was all arranged years ago , the speed with which it was all done proves that.
He's on a hiding to nothing trying to follow Fergie

All they'll win next season will be the Charity Shield
He'll do nicely for a couple of years to take the flak from the fans as united slide out of the top three.
Laudrup has been one season at Swansea and won a cup, Martinez won a cup with Wigan against Man C. Moyes has had eleven years at Everton with some good players/squads and won nothing.

I dont think he has a long term future at Man U.

In fact I would not be surpised if he has gone by the end of next season.

"Big" clubs need "Big" managers.

A player like Ronaldo would be much more likely to go back to Man U if say Mourinho was in charge than with Moyes there.
I'm not sure of him yet, but it's pleasing to see a top club stay with a British manager.............
The Man U job is a poisoned chalice, how do you follow such an act as Sir Alex.

When Busby went the club crashed, and it took twenty years to replace him. Moyes has done a fantastic job at Everton on very small budgets. I also think hes seen as a "safe pair of hands"

However if he doesn't win something next year, he'll probably be gone, I don't envy him.
I wish him well as.......... Fergie's Number 2
Very sorry that David Moyes has left Everton.
I can fully understand Man.United's choice, particularly as they want to win the league, and no English manager has ever been able to achieve this since the Premiership has been established. :)
Fergie obviously had a say in appointing him and expects him to have a tough time or he wouldn't have asked the fans to stick by him in his farewell speech at Old Trafford last week

5 games into next season the fans will be chanting for Fergie to come back
