I just got an email claiming to be from Amazon, about unusual activity on my account.

In the title it quoted a 'reverance number'.

Just asking for a friend.
I get similar e-mails from E-bay but they only ask for a reply if it was not me who accessed the account. Not a scam.
Question Author
Yes, scam Danny.
Yours might be but I don't think the E-bay ones are as they don't ask for any personal details.
They do say "if this was not you change your poassword immediately".How is that a scam?
I don't get this type of email. :(
