This is bizarre. Scam or not, just walk away.
sounds fake but as Jackdaw says, it doesn't matter: if people ask you to do things you aren't sure of, don't do it.
If you have to ask yourself "Is this a scam?" chances are it is. Walk away.
The more I think about it, the more absurd it becomes. A letter from across the Atlantic to an army general or he will be sent on a deadly mission? Pull the other one! Just wait for the bit where he asks for your bank details on some pretext.
drop him like a red hot brick, no good will come of this im sure, its a scam of some sort.
Scam,scam,scam.

He's probably in Nigeria.
he'll need a $1 000, 000 ransom paying to free him from the clutches of an evil dictatorship that has frozen his assets ! get rid NOW !
Cease correpondence with this person immediately.
go on the deadly mission of course
can i come as a geriatric girl friday or someone ?
Definitely a scam!

This should be in "Jokes". Walk away - fast!
ask yourself if this is a scam
no - ask yourself if this is a wind-up
(yes)
deadly mission is a give away

does it involve novichok ? I am your man - I used to work at Englands deadly virus warfare lab ( top secret!)
Surely you're not going to fall for that, let him find another mug!
Why don't I ever get these (it's a scam by the way).
I love playing along with them and winding them up .... you'll probably reach a point where he'll end up asking you for money. It'll probably be a relatively small amount at first and then things will escalate from thereon in.

I'd be playing along and probably ask him to send me a few quid first, because my bank account has extra layers of security imposed by the bank to protect my HUGE stash, so any payments made, can only be paid to someone who has previously paid me ..... pass them along to me ..... I'll sort 'em out lol.
google Parker Porter. The question is a wind up.
He'll be asking for money next. If someone wants to be added to my freiends or starts following me, I block as soon as possible. I only want people I know as my friends.
Yeah, it definitely sounds like a scam. He will probably ask you to send him money. I suggest you block them
