A bargain is only a bargain if you think it's a bargain
Only a 3 Month warranty would put me off.
The name Wowcher would put me off. It's a silly name.
Before you buy anything you should check it is what you want. If you want an old model laptop then it might be the buy for you.
False advertising in this instance, though, OG
I am with Bookie here....I never trust a daft name.

Wowcher is not exactly unknown.

The thing is , when you are one of numerous companies out there in a competitive market; you want to have a name that stands out from the crowd and that people will remember .

Whar are people likely to recall - ' A j Jones - technology products ' or 'Wowcher' ?
If it looks too good to be true........
I confess to not being a Wowcher expert, but as I understand it Wowcher isn't there to flog you things, it's there to show you price reductions from someone else, that Wowcher's ability to direct customers towards, has achieved. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. The description is most likely from the seller whom, I guess, is quoting the original advertising from 2006.
no, OG Wowcher sells you a voucher (a Wow Voucher hence the name) that entitles you to buy the offer at the price shown.
Sorry pressed send too soon. You buy the voucher from Wowcher and then pass it to the deal seller or Wowcher give you a link to the deal once you have bought the voucher .

Cheers Tony, I can see that one being a best seller :o(
So can I !
Having skimmed the Wowcher page it seems pretty much as I described. Just that they use a voucher to confirm the deal. As the statement, "worth calling ahead to see if the merchant can accommodate you at your preferred time." implies, Wowcher isn't supplying the goods/services, some other merchant is.
yes that's right OG but you PAY Wowcher.
