I have received an e-mail from Simply-Rewards by Nationwide banking,however if wanting to register it asks for bank details.All the heading appears to be genuine Nationwide.

You could always give Nationwide a call.
scam

banks never ever ask for your bank details through an email. If in doubt go to the bank site through a google search and contact customer services.
I received one yesterday from Nationwide. Could be genuine but as I wasn't interested I just binned it.
Certain scam for reasons Retro gave. Your other option besides binning it as fpc suggested, is to go investigate as Baldric said.

Yes Togo I do have an on-line account with Nationwide,and yes it is after all genuine.
