I have to say I have never had the experience of going to a church youth group as my skin burns whenever I get near somewhere religious XD. It sounds lke a really good move though Ultra, hope it all goes well. When do they meet?
Be yourself and have fun.
You sound like you don't have a lot of confidence. Why should you make a fool of youself? I'm sure you as good if not better than a lot of the group. Don't be selling yourself short. Go with an open mind and keep thinking they'd be luck to have you in their group and anyway most of them probably felt the same as you did when they first joined.
Go and have a good time and stop worrying about what other people think.
dont forget that most people get nervous about meeting people and most people understand this and accommodate people who make an effort. all the best, you sound like a good person.
why don't we all who post here saying we need friends, make friends amongst ourselves? ;o)
well I think joining a youth group is a good option because you have these meetings, with people who have the same faith as you, and are probably there for the same reason you are... so, things will work out really well, don't worry, and let us know later how was your experience!
