Did I know what? That you’re linking to a blurb from a Roman Catholic trying to sell his book? Yes, I did. I gathered that almost as soon as I clicked on the link.
As Naomi said, while simultaneously attempting to stir up the usual anti-Muslim fervour that tends to be all over certain parts of the internet.

And I didn't even bother with the link.

How could you have known all those facts naomi when some of them are gained from personal contacts?

Mozz; I'm not anti-Muslim, I'm anti muslimists killing Christians - aren't you?
What facts? I read the blurb. It’s obvious he’s got a book to sell. You can buy it from the Catholic shop in St Peter’s Square.

How very specific. I would hope most people have slightly more morals than that!
Do you think that it's only Christians being persecuted by radicals?

I'm concerned about all victims of radicals, aren't you?
Just to clarify I’m against Muslims killing Christians too - but I dislike this man’s style of reporting intensely.
Have to say Pixie, I'd have preferred it if you hadn't made Khandro's quote look like I made it!
alleluia!
I'm against any people killing any people, I'm not fervent enough to object more on a faith basis.
Unfortunately, people who believe stuff without any attempt or opportunity to think things over for themselves (i.e. some religious believers) are vulnerable to those who tell them what to do. Fortunately, some of them have innate evolved values which override the urging of so-called religious leaders who defend their positions by getting their 'flock' to give them unthinking support.
It works all ways - Muslims against Christians, Christians against Muslims, Hindus against..... fill in your own religion.
there are a lot of christian countries with Mosques. How many Muslim countries have churches? Just saying!
Tora- //there are a lot of christian countries with Mosques. How many Muslim countries have churches? Just saying!//

Most of them. Only the more radical countries don't - Afghanistan, Iran, Nigeria, N. Korea etc.

Here's some of the most beautiful chuches and synagogues...

great mozz, diamond geezers!
funny, you know I hate religion generally but I am huge fan of architecture and it is perhaps ironic that we owe religion for some of the most amazing buildings. A paradox I struggle with.
Sorry mozz....
It's not a paradox, ttt. They have some amazing buildings. I love a lot of them and enjoy seeing them. Maybe history more than religion.
I get where you're coming from Tora, and like you I love the architecture of some places of worship without caring for the religions. I look at them as signs of the riches these places have, how they spent it on church bling, rather than helping those who really needed it.
Mozz, that's religion all over. there is a film with Anthony Quinn as Pope called "the shoes of the fisherman" - in which the pope decides that the wealth of the catholic church would be better employed helping the poor. Well you can imagine the rest!
