“The world must come together to confront climate change. There is little scientific dispute that if we do nothing, we will face more drought, famine and mass displacement that will fuel more conflict for decades. Is possible for man achieve.

I'm sure God will sort it out for his creations - earth and mankind ...

Oh, hang on ...
Nobody. Too many conflicts of interest.
Why all the fuss, Goodlife? You know the world is about the end - you keep telling us - so why the panic about mending it? There’s no point.

That's true, but Goodlife, like all fervents, is doomed to a life of fretting and handwringing over the millions who don;t view God as he does.

That life may be mercifully short of course (!), but still filled with the daily anguish that makes enjoying life an utter impossibility.
I know some people think caring about climate change is a religion but not sure what it's doing in here!

Because, even as I type, Goodlife is poised to trundle in with the message that it's Man's fault for letting God down - again - and he will have the appropriate texts to back it up, and quote them ad nauseum..

Youve said it all! God did not make us like robots. we all have free will to do as we wish. If that is not in line with God's requirements that is the fault of man. As to fretting about you all. Let me assure you I am not! You have been warned as has everyone, that time is running out. And its not just me saying that, the activists, scientists and governments all recognise that climate change is ruining the earth. Revelation Ch. 11 v 18.
AH fair play you called it!
Goodlife, did you miss my post? If we struggle to save the earth what difference will it make? According to you the world is on the verge of ending anyway.
16:43.... GL- what was the purpose in making us so rubbish? Was that the best he can do? Are we "in his image"? Or is he a bit sly, and it's all a test?
Perhaps we should all bow down and listen to Greta? She doesnt seem to happy with the current situation...
If the world is about to end, as Goodlife maintains, trying to save the planet is a complete waste of time.

The world, or the planet, is not going to come to an end God created the earth to stand to times indefinite. Its the system of things of mans rule that is coming to an end. Man has proved that he cannot manage the earth, that is why the earth is in the state it is. Man cannot solve the problem of climate change which is why we were asked to pray for Gods Kingdom. Matthew Ch. 6 v 9 & 10.
Question AuthorThe world, or the planet, is not going to come to an end God created the earth to stand to times indefinite.

Wrong, earth will be destroyed the sun finally burns out.
In answer to the OP; nature will put the world right, not protesters and govt officials. Nature has brought the Earth this far. Climate Change is natural. Yep, I'm still banging that drum and will continue to do so.
If you read Revelations carefully God creates a new Heaven and a new Earth.
in the meantime we are here as stewards to look after God's creation
Ok Goodlife, if man’s rule is coming to an end and God will cure the ills of this planet, why should man even try? Same question really … and still you haven’t answered it.

Yes Noami, there are such people today, even as there were in Bible times. Jesus, said that the religious leaders of his day were ‘blind men leading the blind and that both would fall into the pit’; although they themselves said to him, “We are not blind also, are we?” or ‘’I know my Bible’’

He also said you would know the happiness that Jesus spoke about, then you must be conscious of your spiritual need. How do you show that you are conscious of your spiritual need? One way is by carefully studying God’s Word, wherein he reveals his will for his earth.—Matt. 24:45-47.
And still you haven't answered it, Goodlife. If God is going to cure the earth, what's he waiting for?
You say that God made the earth to stand for times indefinite, Goodlife. However, that's not what Jesus said, or what the Bible teaches. Jesus said "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Peter says, But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be dissolved in the fire, and the earth and its works will not be found. Doesn't sound like the earth is going to last, according to the Bible!
John in Revelation says: "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."
I'm sure the JW's have got their own theories on this, bearing in mind you have a theory that only extra-special JW's go to heaven and the rest of the earth will be populated with "run-of-the-mill JW's" (bearing in mind all non-JW's are sent to hell).
Just so anyone reading this doesn't confuse JW teaching with Christianity or the Bible.
