It's pretty plain English, Naomi - Hell is God's just judgment against sin.

If you refuse to accept that as justification, it says more about you than about God.
Spungle, I read theland's damming opinion of his God. If you have a quote to post, I'll read that too.
"You too Hazi...." wooooo I have been naomied and shamied. Perhaps if you actually read and understand what I wrote before you fire off your answers you may learn something. There again, probably not.
How is it just, spungle?
Spungle, having googled, you are disagreeing with theland, rather than me. How come even Christians translate the bible however they prefer? Does it really mean nothing?
I did read what you said, hazi. You still haven’t told me how hell is justified.
Hi Pixie-

"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
"Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us."

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Theland is right- people may mock God, laugh at Him, deride His word. But He will have the last laugh.
That's what he said. Do you believe God is really that evil?
Hello Naomi, you ask "how is it just"? Because no sin will enter into the eternal presence of God; the place where unsaved go is Hell. Its like sending the condemned to prison, Naomi. Please get this - I havent got all day.
Pixie- No.
If you think that’s justification for eternal torment you’re a very sad specimen of humanity, spungle. I’d rather be me than you.
He sounds a nasty man. I honestly would have expected any god to have more morals, forgiveness, love and less arrogance and insecurity than mere humans and animals. Particularly those he "created". What is his problem?
Why claim he is, spungle? He laughs when sending people to hell?
God is perfectly loving and perfectly holy and He is also perfectly just.
The Bible says that God desires all Men to be saved.
It is a great tragedy if anybody chooses to go hell and God has provided a path for salvation through Jesus
Why doesn't he just banish hell....?
If no sin can enter the eternal presence of God and spungle, theland and hazi are so sure of their place with him, I can only conclude that all three consider themselves perfect - leaving the rest of us with no option but to bathe in their reflected glory before becoming the butt of their God’s twisted humour.
If u dont believe in hell then its hard to justify of course eternal damnation is guaranteed for sinners its justified by our lord because he has the final say and he has said
And laughs... :-). I am so glad I don't have to persuade myself to believe in any of this. Religious people must be in a constant state of bafflement and quandary. (Well, apparently they are).
How selfishly unprincipled you people are - and all in the hope of saving your own sorry souls.
Much judgement i feel towards the religious and not much trying to answer the persons question
