Roundabout? I think its more like a see-saw, one person from each side takes it in turn to look down on the other.

Only problematic if you are fat and heavy with your resolution.

SK - It is for this very reason that I have ceased debating with Theland.

We simply get nowhere.

He is entitled to his beliefs, no-one would deny that, but literally years of different people requesting some evidence for them have turned up precisely nothing - mainly because there is nothing there.

I see no prospect of him ever changing either his views, or his approach to debate, so i have stepped away, it's pointless and utterly frustrating.

Naomi and a couple of others seem keen to continue, although they get no further forward than I have, nor do I expect they will, but that is their choice to continue.

It's not the belief I find irritating, it's the unwillingness to answer the most basic and reasonable challenges about that belief, and believe me, I have offered every single one there is!

So in order not to waste my time, and in the interests of my blood pressure, I am simply observing, and accept that nothing will ever change.

If, as you say, you are tired of it, I recommend you do the same.

Hi AH. It just annoys me , this silly notion about this all caring god thingy.

My wife had a baby who lived for 40 minutes, my 2nd wife died from a brain tumour at 44.

Yet still, some believe with the ridiculous notion that their imaginary god exists.

(I sympathise with the tragedies in your life, sadly they are more common than you think. Nobody is untouched by tragedy).
