For me...it was a 6 (SIX) hour video call with my daughter and her partner. We ate, drank, talked about everything from the C word, house plants, family history, to why her dad is an a*****e. There was a tour of their flat, and they "met" Cleo. She did a cat thing and showed them her bum. Cat owners will understand. They were in hysterics. Tubby hid.
What was the best thing for you? And anyone who may have not had such a great day...wishing you better in the future x
A similar video call from stepson down there in Norfolk,he was 'with us' all afternoon , we brought a mother smaller table to the dinner table and linked up with him, was lovely
Because of our two four day weekend lockdowns at the beginning of the month was able to cook all the veggies and take them to my daughter and be with grand kids. Niece and her son and one dog came too. The 4 cats stayed home as they don't get along with her 3. Xmas present left by the fire, regurgitated mice dinner! How are Tubby and Cleo doing?
Really pleased you had such a good day, Pasta. Sets us up a bit doesn't it.
For me the best thing has been that in spite of a horrid year and family news knocking us back far too often of late we had a wonderful day.
Dave and two of the best friends anyone could have made the day a good and happy day for me...x
The Best Thing About Yesterday:
Was a piece of rib beef which was simply delicious and the best piece of beef I've had for aeons. Good old fashioned meat with all the fat left on it and a taste I remember from my childhood.
Some left for this evening with bubble and tomorrow in sarnies.
Lovely to spend such a long time with your daughter Pasta, albeit virtual.
The best thing about our day was the blue skies and the coastal walk. Today is cold and windy and the best thing about it was Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake on Sky Arts.
We had a Skype with our son in USA.It’s great to see them but the best part was seeing our little grandson playing with his new toys.Shame we couldn’t be with them hope for better in 2021.
