Most people prefer not to think about the shortness of their life, reasoning: “What’s the use? There’s nothing I can do about it anyway.” But there is something you can do about it.

Alleluia!
What can we do about it?
Guess I'll get on with building that ark then.
have a sing along me old china and stop worrying....

Come on Goodlife. Stop the suspense.
What God. You have yet to prove there is one.

Hans.
Not me, bruv. I might mock nuts like you, but wouldn't dream of knocking or mocking an entity that probably doesn't even exist!
Your god must be extraordinarily thin-skinned if he is thinking of taking any serious action against those who mock him. I wouldn't cause harm to anyone who mocked me. Is he just a Trump-like character, or is he above such things. Do you think he will take action? If so, what sort of action? And would you approve?
Till about ten past, I think.
Presuming you mean the christian version of god rather than the numerous other gods who are equally important to those that believe in fairy tales then s/he has put up with being mocked for 2000 years in all sorts of ways.... a few more thousand years won't make much difference to her/him
How strange to make such a statement only to skedaddle without elaborating upon it.

I wonder if, when Goodlife does his visiting, he rings doorbells before running off and hiding round the corner? Not gonna shift many Watchtowers like that.
How long?

You tell us - you usually 'ask a question' only as a precursor to boring everyone stupid with more Watchtower cut and pastes.
I think goodlife is alluding to eternal life. And that's a whoooooole different thing to when god will take action against us. As is why would a benevolent god take action upon his creation. Not to mention the fundamental 'does god exist' debate.

All of the above have been done do death (pardon the pun) on here.
The whole JW "religion" is based on an initial mistranslation of the King James Bible. If that wasn't bad enough, they have since produced their own version of the bible entitled the New World Translation which "re-translates" dozens of existing passages to make them conform to their beliefs: https://www.blueletterbible.org/study/cults/rajwd/rajwd24.cfm

I can't help but feel sorry for them...
The question is rather odd.

A lot of people DO think that life is too short and try to do something about it by living their best life and living it to the full. Spending hours and days pondering the actions of some vindictive god seems considerably more wasteful of what could have been a goodlife (see what I did there).

I'm guessing the something is ...
jimF good point but they are all completely radio. How can anyone whose IQ beats their shoe size believe all that pony?
//How Long Will God Let Mankind Mock Him Before He Takes Action//

Why would an omniscient god even give a fig?
Seriously!
//good point but they are all completely radio. How can anyone whose IQ beats their shoe size believe all that pony?//

I say the same about Daily Mail readers. :-)
Funny you should ask that because I've often wondered how long humankind will let self-proclaimed minions of their asserted god disparage them before they take action?
Mozz71....agree totally re Daily Mail readers...tho' it does make me laugh when I do look at it!! Damned good comic!
