If there is intelligent life on other planets, they might well have religions. Do christians here think that god would have sent them a version of Jesus?

A quick check with google confirms there are at least 200 billion galaxies containing unimaginable billions of planets - our galaxy alone hosts at least 100 billion. Don’t you think it’s rather arrogant to claim that this insignificant speck of dust that we call home is unique?

Theland, don't you wonder why god would make this vast universe just for a few billion humans on one tiny dot? Doesn't the wonder of what we know for sure really does exist not appear at all in your mind?
Good grief we have enough of this nonsense on planet Earth.
"Life on other planets is just an idea unsupported by any evidence."

Err, isn't that the same as god (I refuse to use a capital G) - god is unsupported by any evidence as well.
Logic, reason, science, observation, whatever you want to call it, has no place in the mind of a believer. Blind faith is all to these people.

Anything which scientists can not yet explain beyond all doubt must be divine. Anything in the bible which disagrees with anything else in the bible is a parable.

Believers will also claim that god is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, yet these claims can be easily disproven with simple logic.

Theland, can you see the stars where you live? Don't you ever look at them and marvel at the vastness of it all? I hope you don't think that they are just recessed ceiling lights in a black domed roof. If you tell us that you don't believe in the observed universe, than I shall give up trying to inspire you.
What is irrational are, yes, a universe from nothing without a first cause. Life from inert chemicals. And of course, the theory of evolution, which is built on shaky ground and is full of holes.
//I hate using LOL, I think it’s inane, but I did LOL at that nailit//
DD I cant believe that I once believed this contradictory rubbish. Glad that I immersed myself in open minded study at a young age after getting entrapped with religion instead of 'just having faith' and listening to pastors and preachers. Ive had my troubles over the years but have always been thankful that Im free from religious delusion.

Theland; it's like trying to inspire a bluebottle! I give up.
Theland, whats wrong with simply admitting that we dont know how the universe came about?
I dont know why I have blue eyes but I dont fret about it.

Made me chuckle, thanks Naomi ;-)
As a Christian my thoughts are:

If there is life on other planets that God will have revealed Himself to them.

Likely not as Jesus Christ tho . Jesus came to earth as a human so there’d be No sense sending a human to a out of space life form.

Also it is mans sin that separated us from God in the first place so perhaps alien life forms (if they exist) have never sinned so they have never been separated from God in the first place.

Interesting question it’s got me thinking tbh
JimF - disproven with simple logic? Go on then.

Eve, I'd be very surprised if there are alien races who have never sinned (I understand sin as doing bad things to other people, not simply following a so-called heretical doctrine, which would be contrary to rules merely invented by other creatures). I would expect aliens to be the result of long evolution, and likely to be still imperfect in their behaviour: it would be marvellous and very encouraging for humans if aliens had evolved enough to have overcome our earthly failings.
Intelligent life on other planets will have prophets who have been told :

__entity__[A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away

on a world called Earth, in a place known as Bethlehem]
...
What the heck is "entity" ??????????
OG it looks like you may have fallen foul of the flaky italics feature which can react badly to other square brackets in the text (just guessing)
I dont think there is life anywhere else in the universe but I cant deny the possibility. Are they human and are they fallen? The Bible suggests that Man's sin has affected the universe so in that case they need salvation. Jesus's sacrifice is sufficient for all people no matter where in the universe you may be living

So probability is proof?
