It is painful to watch a loved one suffer and die. We naturally grieve such a loss.

It is comforting to know, however, that our Creator, understands our grief. More than that, he longs to use his almighty power to restore life to the dead. Notice the hope conveyed in the words of Job, recorded at Job 14:14-15,says
If a man dies, can he live again?
I will wait all the days of my compulsory service
Until my relief comes.
15 You will call, and I will answer you.
You will long for the work of your hands.

I see nothing natural in the death. People were not created so they could die. I see the term "natural death" as an oxymoron.
I think the present crises has concentrated peoples thoughts about death. Perhaps one of the reasons 25% of the population has watched an online church service since Coronavirus began
Oh you mean like the threads that always 'last longer' when YOU start preaching and boring everyone?? You mean like those threads?? LOL

Seriously though - that should mean that every nun and priest, and especially JW, should live for ever, but it seems they don't.

Why is that?

If you are determined to get your posts, and possibly the whole thread deleted, I can't stop you.

I am simply offering a little friendly advice - feel free to be rude if you wish, I am simply advising you what it will lead to.
Calling people other than by their designated name contravenes Site Rules - you are heading for a fall here.
Stop being so rude, daisy. Either join in or ignore.
Fiveleaves, why is death "unnatural"? Do animals die, or do they carry on too?

You've been here less than a month, daisy. How would you know? Do you have anything at all to say about life after death... ?
Andy //Calling people other than by their designated name contravenes Site Rules - //

Daisy called you by your surname - So does that mean if someone called me Polly or Aunt Grey instead of my full name they are contravening Site Rules? come on....
Pixie, you are playing a very clever passive aggressive game. No one can prove there is life after death so why are you persisting asking Daisy to prove something. Is it really that important?
I’ve been called a lot worse ;0))))
Not to me, apg. The aggression shown by daisy shows that it is to her. But she can't explain why. Fair enough. But there is no need for the name-calling and rudeness.

That's your choice, not mine.

My user name is andy-hughes, not Hughes, and I expect people to have the courtesy to use it, or andy as an abbreviation.

I have not tolerated being called 'Hughes' since I left school nearly fifty years ago - and regulars on here know that this has been an issue in the past.
little children love one another!

er hi poll - andy doesnt like variations - andie sent him into paroxysms only barely controlled
and a dear sweet old fella used to address him as Hughes or the man Hughes which caused other paroxys,s

since Andy - hi andy! is tho thweet it seem nice to call him what he wishes
rt I have done one bible quote
there is another hatching ....

Pixie name calling and rudeness -really? Let it go, someone called you a name that means "a self-righteously moralistic person who behaves as if they are superior to others." Gosh, in fact golly gosh,I may have to lie down that is so rude. ;-))

I am fine with 'variations', it's disrespect and deliberate provocation that I don't sit still for.
The bible doesn't prove itself though, pp. Is there any other reason at all that people go along with this. Other than wishful thinking?
