Quite aside from anything else, you are still setting far too much store by the people who are speaking, and far too little by what they are actually saying. Evaluate the evidence for yourself, if you can -- what one PhD says, or a Professor, or even a Nobel Laureate or two, means nothing. They may be right or they may be wrong, but who they are is irrelevant to that....

I know that it is true
look we have all had this before many many times

yes and you believe that it was all due to the oodgy woodgy man in 4004 BC or thereabouts - good on you ! I dont blame you

If you know it is is true, please tell me one thing you know to be true.
What I know to be true is that some of us have yet to fully evolve.
One thing I know about evolution is that it's true. You can see with the naked eye that it's true in your own lifetime:

What one thing do you know about creationism?
Even creationists cant agree among themselves (eg: young Earth/old earth)
That although it is extensively tested and observed to be true to as large degree as is possible, it is still denied by those who prefer to think complex creatures just suddenly burst into existence without any reasonable explanation.
It happens and is happening right now.

That a species will, as a group, adapt to a changing environment making itself a better fit to the new conditions. This it does over generations by the inevitable process of the most fit members surviving long enough to pass on those characteristics that make them most fit to the next generation, while the least fit members don't make it that far.
The one thing I know for sure is that some are left behind.

Thank you for the replies.
I agree with the examples presented, and I agree with observed micro evolution, but macro evolution puzzles me.
I have found no evidence for it, in spite of listening to lectures supporting it from evolutionary scientists.
Their presentations have too many assumptions for me to be convinced.
Theland. Can you tell me one of these assumptions that fails to convince you?
Question Author
Yes.
Cross speciation.

Here is a scientist who now embraces Intelligent Design.

Six minutes.
Theland, can you explain cross speciation to me and tell me what you don't understand or find convincing?
Question Author
A species is determined by its DNA.
It has never been found that one species changes into another by random mutations of the DNA.
If you find one let me know.
Did the link work?
Theland - // Their presentations have too many assumptions for me to be convinced. //

Now you know how atheists feel when you post about your belief in God.

Don't know what's wrong with the link.
Question Author
Ah it's worked.
Th, I think you should read Dawkins on evolution and natural selection. Don't just stick to people who present as supporting your beliefs, try someone who suggests the opposite, and try to see if there's anything there that sounds reasonable.
Anyway, Th I need to retire for the night. Sleep well.
