Some say, ‘Religion and politics are subjects that not talk about.’ Even if you feel that way, it is in your best interest that you be informed about what is happening regarding religion and politics and how this may come to affect your own life. Further, by referring to the Bible on this matter, you will find that God has things to say about religion’s mixing in politics and about where it is leading.(2 Cor. 6:14)

Satan, offered Jesus “all the kingdoms of the world and their glory” in exchange for one act of worship. (Matthew 4:8-10) Essentially, Jesus was offered world rulership—but on the Devil’s terms. Goodlife. Why can't you speak like a human being? You say nothing to me that responds to my questions. I have to presume that you are just an algorithm designed by evangelicals. Atheist. Its been my experience speaking to JW's like goodlife that they have become automatons, parroting the doctrine that they have been taught from their church/kingdom hall. Unable to think for themselves they have no other recourse but to either quote from their literature or to copy and paste from the internet.
It honestly makes me sad to see individuals so brainwashed.

Nailit. I don't actually think that they are real people; just computer-generated christian-inspired machines. I don't want to upset ordinary christian people, but things like Goodlife are obviously not really human - they never say anything that relates to genuine human questioning about the meaning of life. A decent christian would answer back with meaningful words, and we could have a civilised conversation about it all. I give up with these drones/clones/whatever..

Trust me, they are real people. Ive known a few in my life and yes, they really do become automatons for their cult/belief/religion/sect/etc.

Hopefully using their own judgement as best they can, acknowledging their own limitations and realising 'a true Christian' is as much a fantasy/controlling idea as either of these well promoted controlling ideas:

My response to you all is I am a human, not a robot, a drone or a computerised answering machine. I have repeatedly told you all on this site, that I look to the Bible for my guidance through life and whatever I say is just as Jesus said many time, "What I speak is what the Father tells me"
As to being brainwashed. Yes, I am. But not in the sense you mean.
Because I have studied the Bible and compared the Bible teachings to what religion teaches, my mind is made over. Read Romans 12 v 2. By meditating on the word of God and his way of thinking we can prove to ourselves that his viewpoints are right. This can easily be illustrated by food. If we want to improve our health we take in food that is nutricious, but what would be the point if we take in polluted or contaminated food? So if we corrupt our minds with worldly ideas, how can we prove to ourselves that God's way is best?
Obviously we cannot avoid all worldly thinking, some exposure is inevitable, but if we can avoid ideas that can pervert our thinking. For example, pornography, immorality or violence.

If you knew your Bible you would know that Jesus always spoke his Father's thoughts. Also by reading the account in Matthew Ch. 4 when he was tempted in the wilderness, Satan showed he was the Ruler of the World.
