Or where they live? Or what they do for a living?

Maybe you even form a version of them in your mind without having an evidence either way.

Without disclosing information that you know to be true about anyone, which ABers do you make guesstimates about, and what are they?

no.....do you?
I have wondered about it yes. Perhaps I would get used to of not doing so after a while. I think many would not even tell you the truth even if you ask them. For me every woman I go past seems Naomi and many men I wondered if they are Wizard, Waldo, Octavius or Theland.

But one day I may stop doing that. As far as I am concerned about myself I have always told the truth when asked in the past. Thats the way I am in my real life as well. When asked, you would get 100% truth and nothing else. Not so sure about anyone else and do not even worry about that.

But I would say the beauty of AB is that people are hidden and just want to be recognized for their views and not the looks etc and that is OK.

Some. But I've been lucky enough to be in contact off AB with many users I'm fond of so that's been very nice.
So your'e not fond of me them , China ?
I sent you a friendship invitation postively yonks ago Baz and you snubbed me... It's entirely your own fault!!

Keyplus - If you see me around CH62, well, I'm unlikely to be anywhere else.
Naomi? Being carried to her car, shouting, "I love you all, get the drinks in ....... " Yes, that's our dear Naomi.
You'll recognise Waldo, playing guitar in a jazz band, his Guardian sticking out of his back pocket.
Wizard - clutching a six pack and heading home from the offee, bumbing into things on the way.
Octavius? Can't help you. A dark horse, but a nice one.
China Doll? Absolutely stunning and beautiful, but those eyes! You wouldn't want to cross her!
Never give it a thought. If someone tells me they're a certain age - then fine. I don't see as it mattersI know where a few live anyway - and also what they do for a living.
Have joined the Answerbank group on Facebook, you can meet up with people on there to chat. And easy to ignore the people you dont want to talk to!
I don't think specifically about anyone's age - but I do tend to conjure up an over all picture of them in my mind. Probably totally wrong in most cases! Well, definitely wrong in one case. I thought a 40 year old man was an 18 year old girl once! (Fortunately, he saw the funny side and forgave me). People often give little hints about what they're like. For example, I know Keyplus has a beard, but I have two pictures of him - one in a business suit, and one in traditional Pakistani dress. (Come on, Keyplus, tell me which one's right).

Don't we all conjure up pictures of each other in our mind's eye?

By the way, Keyplus, if you pass someone in the street who does this to you - ;o) - that'll be me.

Theland, you're incorrigible! Left to you, my reputation would be in tatters! I love you all .... get the drinks in! Hic!
I do wonder what people look like and even get the gender wrong too sometimes!!

I suppose with my username at least you al know I am female!!
It's quite nice really as a couple of people have thought that I am much younger than I actually am!
I find it hard not to visualise people as I always do that automatically. I think in pictures I suppose.
Judging by the posts in Chatterbank, I would guess they are around 13 and 14 years old.
36, male, gsoh, all my own hair (and teeth), professionally educated non-smoker, youngest of five, devoted husband and father, likes playing guitars, keyboards, drums and all manner of other instruments even blowing my own trumpet. Overcome mid-life crisis by buying a motorbike, enjoys nights in and out, haven't been to the cinema for 4 years, plays some sports most of which require no unnecessary physical exertion, likes a drink or two, and is always willing to advise and have an opinion and listen to everyone elses.

I do of course have imaginary pictures of what everyone looks like but I cannot describe them (or at least prefer not to). Mostly I picture them nakedly bearing their souls, which most of them do. But that isnt anything to do with rude thoughts, more a realisation of the vulnerability of individual lives, feelings and opinions and the fragility of human nature.
I think it is natural to visualise the people you share that much of your feelings and thoughts. To me it proves that you do not have to see everything or everyone to believe in them (make a note of it Naomi). Good or bad we share our views about life, religion, society and we do also share jokes sometimes too.

Good guess about me Naomi and by the way do not share those pictures with anyone else.

As I said earlier that I never tried to hide my identity. Even when I logged into few chat lines (9 years ago) I always used to tell 100% truth about me.

I will take a lead from Octavius. I am 40, male (last time checked), gsoh, my own hair (whatever is there), yes my own teeth, 6ft 1in, live in Isleworth (middx), accountant by profession, originally from Pakistan (told that before), devoted husband to a white English country girl, father of 4 (5th one is on its way), like and play cricket and have played professional cricket in the past, like bikes, photography, music, reading books, eating spicy foods, making friends, and staying friend of course, will do anything sincerely possible for anyone in the need of help, give my opinion about anything good or bad, does not hate anyone apart from people who whiz past you on a traffic signal and the one who do not respect their parents. What else, ..leave it people are not interested.

There you go have a guess.
There you go have a guess.

Really want to say, don't know they all look the same, but I'd better not ;-)

And yes, I am of Asian origin to.
A mid life crisis at 36, well, thanks very much, I have just had that milestone birthday last week , so invited all my fellow ABers to give me the bumps. I am 36, male, single and live in Shropshire, without giving too much away. Would like to meet a nice young lady (are there any other kind), but most of them are spoken for. The nicest ones in the world are here in AB, but most of them are spoken for, aren't you, ladies?

yep :)
Oh, heavens!! This is impossible!! No beards - and Im sure Keyplus said before that he has a beard!! And only one person significantly taller than the rest (dont know about those crouching down). So does that mean the tall one on the left hand end of row is 6ft 1in (and, hence, could be Keyplus) and all the others are between 5ft 6in and 5ft 11in - or that hes 6ft 7in and all the others are between 5ft 11in and 6ft 4in? What a dilemma!! OK, a guess. Fourth from the left (standing) in baseball cap and cricket jersey, holding the trophy?

Vic. Haaa! Very good. Go on, you have a guess. Which one?

Anyone else going to have a guess before Keyplus reveals all?
