Is there an "official" number of languages of the UK. I don't mean Urdu or Arabic with all our immigrants, but maybe indigenous ones.

I can think of

English
Gaelic
Erse???
Welsh
Cornish
Is Celtic a language?

Are these "official". If so what are their correct names and are there any others?

Thank you.

Forgot to add is Pikey (not really Romany) an official language as well?
I believe some Cornishmen speak Breton.
Strange one really, we don't have an official language, what we have is National languages.

So all the languages you've mentioned, and others, would be the national languages of those peoples.
They may be teaching cornish again in schools but the last person who spoke cornish as a mother tongue died about 300 years ago.
Spudqueen - Cornish is spoken by 3,500 people according to Wiki and is registered as an official UK minority language
