Me again, put on a pair of jeans today to clean out pond, havent worn them for a while and used to hang off me and today, omg. Had to lay on bed to get zip done up and then when bending to clean pond, they ripped from top to halfway down my leg. Cos I live down south it was warm enough for me to continue with pond cleaning in said ripped jeans but, what is happening to me. I am getting bigger by the day, literally. How can I lose weight, I have no willpower at all and already quit smoking 3 months ago..... help me before I explode :(

That'll be the problem- quitting the ciggys........start smoking again! :-)



Seriously, it's the old fashioned method of cutting down on food and (now this im allergic to) exercise.

maybe your jeans had shrunk!
try eating celery when you get the urge to have a munchie :o)


For the exercise simply take extra long walks (runs if you're up to it) at least every other day.


Try to locate some non-sugar candies that you can pop whenever you get the urge to eat something between meals.


At mealtimes try to concentrate on leaving the table a little bit hungry rather than always full.

i really do with you luck, and whatever you do -- don't become a smoker again. That would probably be worse on your health than a little weight problem.


WELL DONE on the smoking. That is probably why you have gained a bit of weight. I REALLY wouldn't worry about it. Not smoking is far more important. However, just be careful and keep an eye on what you eat. Eat 3 meals a day, and cut out the snacks. Eat loads of veg and fruit and try to go on nice long walks now the evenings are getting lighter. But don't WORRY about it, as that is the worst thing you can do!

Hia.. I quit smoking a month ago.. when I quit smoking I was a Size 12. I joined the gym and started to become this healthy person, when I forst went to the gym it was ok but I didn't make much effort.. Now there is this fit gym instructor that works there OMG.. I mean FITTY!! I go everyday now just to see him and not to mention every other fitty in there..!! I went clothes shopping yesturday and found I fit into a size 10 I can see the difference in my self so much now.. DONT begin smoking again think if all the things you can buy that you couldn't when you smoked..


When your at the gym just keeping thing how smaller you are getting...!!! beleive me its worth it I even watch what I eat now and find my self not eating in between meals :o) GOOD LUCK dont give up x
