I've tried watching this a couple of times now and still halfway on episode 1 of season 1. I can't figure out what's going on and want to give up but many people says it's good. Shall I keep watching and when does it start getting good?

My advice is carry on. All will become clear. Then, if you’ve never seen it, go on to Breaking Bad which ties in with ‘Saul’. Great stuff.

I've saw all of Breaking Bad when it first came out, Naomi. That was excellent so I thought I'd give BCS ago but struggling. Will try it again though and hopefully something will twig :o)

It is brilliant Tiger although someone on here mentioned about series six a while back I didn't know, even now still haven't got around watching series 5 yet.
Trust me it does pick up as did Breaking bad.
Beaking Bad has this awful lawyer ( Saul Goodman).
Vince Gilligan purposely chose comedians for bit parts,
and his was the lollipop scene just before the Feds clean out Mike for the second time

and did so well, that he was written into the series.

Vince bowed to demand to show how Saul went from moral to awful. There are more series than BB

Series one ep 1 - is Saul at the take away (B+W) which I thought was the end ( ring cycle very classical) but isnt, it is his beginning

and then a house being sold up - which is obviously Saul going bankrupt in the future, and WILL be the end

we KNOW he is gonna crash and burn
and has various adventures in which he ALMOST does

The only real problem with a prequel is that they are meant to look younger and no amount of slap will make any of the actors look anything besides shogged
Tiggs, I’m the same ,tried for the second time last night .
Think I’ll try breaking bad .
As it progresses the viewer learns the reasons he changed his name and it builds to his revenge. As you trundle through each episode he faces life, legal and other problems. The mystery is how Saul ends up with Kim :)

Breaking Bad is brilliant, Anne. It took me around two episodes then I was hooked.
Tiggs, I’ll try that thank,
saul and kim ?
from the get go they luuuuurve each other

they get into various adventures

the thing is where she goes as we know Saul does NOT have no Kim in BB. She keeps on nearly being killed, arrested, struck off
It does get better, Tiggs. All will become clear, eventually.
I found it very funny at times. Still got a lot of catching up to do.

Should be able to concentrate on it better without interruption when little Tigs goes to stay at his dad's next week :o)
BCS is an excellent series and it is very interesting watching how Jimmy McGill morphs into Saul Goodman, who we have already met in Breaking Bad. It also lays some of the foundation of BB down as regards the drug cartels and, in particular, Gus Fring and 'Mike'.
Another series about a lawyer is Goliath starring Billy Bob Thornton - 3 series i think. Amazon Prime.
//the thing is where she goes as we know Saul does NOT have no Kim in BB. //

We don't need to know 'where' she goes. We know how they got together and why she goes, and that's all we need to know. It isn't Kim's story.
