Just didnt work very well
It isn't yet but it will be soon.
whatever political slant people want to put on it the simple fact is that the top civilised nations of the world will never be able to compete on price with far eastern sweat shops that pay a shilling a week for 14 hour days. Roadman your saintly devotion is impressive but very lonely most care about the price only.
I choose to buy goods that are made in the UK with UK sourced materials as much as possible. All the meat I buy is local. It is getting harder, though.
I am not racist.

Recently bought a new tool that I needed for my workshop

It was 7.99 on Amazon

£2.04 on eBay for exactly the same thing

Guess which I chose ?
I will not buy any crockery which has not been made in Stoke-on-Trent...not even a teacup.
That doesn't make me a racist.
I think from the fact that you will only buy within the UK, nothing will change. Since China has already sold and is now selling its products to Europe and the West. Due to which the number of Chinese is equal to half the globe.
