Does anyone know of a charity that accepts old stamps? I have a childhood stamp album 1965-1975 approx. Many stamps from Singapore and Malaya, as well as the UK and other countries. Also some first days covers. It seems a shame to just throw them away but I understand there is no market for stamps nowadays. Any ideas please?

There may be a difference in what you have as it is a collection but Macmillan Cancer Support accept used postage stamps. It may be an idea to approach your local branch.
There used to be a shop near Charing Cross Station that took stamps and albums. Years ago but I got money for mine
dunno, you got me licked.
You could try selling them on ebay and then pass any money on to your favourite charity.
You can Google Charities that accept postage stamps, among them is RNIB ,Alzheimers Society, Amnesty International, Oxfam, Parkinsons and more. Also as it is a collection it could be worth money from a stamp dealer, a big one is Stanley Gibbons.
