Even though it is a perfect place without any flaws or defects. If God grant our every wish, can we ask for the ability to become angry, sick, forgetfull, tired (etc)?

//Even though it is a perfect place without any flaws or defects//
According to Christian theology there was a great war there (Revelation ch.12)
So not so perfect then?
Just a thought....
If we cant have imperfections in heaven, then there can be no free will in heaven?
A heaven without free will, is not heaven....its a dictatorship!
I was only small when my Aunt Dorothy stroked my curls (the only way she knew who had come to visit her) drew her last breath and died - I distinctly recall asking Mum would Aunty be able to see again in Heaven.
//So not so perfect then?//
Just realised, I'll have A-H on my case for breaking the 'So' Rule....
Heaven protect us....

Anyway, heaven (or the other place which no one likes to dwell on because no thinks that they are headed there) is a perfect place?
Its so perfect that inhabitants immediately forget their disbelieving loved ones who are been tortured....forever....by the being that presides over this paradise.

Conversly is hell a perfect punishment?

Its all nuts and bull crud.

Maybe it was a perfect war.

By the time you get there you probably won't have any desire to be angry, sick, forgetfull, tired (etc). So the issue doesn't arise. After all, you'll have become perfect.
You are under the delusion that you presently have free will ? I expected more of you. But there again, I was inevitably going to.

Back in the day (as a Christian) I delved deeply into Arminianism/Calvinism theology.
We are knackered either way.
Actually, I dont consider myself knackered,
Consider the Bible knackered, along with the Koran, Upanishads, and other religious claptrap...
No we will be perfect in Heaven
//No we will be perfect in Heaven//
Was Lucifer perfect in heaven?
Will you have free will?
Are there war's in heaven?
It's comforting to at least think so Fiveleaves isn't it and what we think harms no one.
Lucifer is an angel, we are humans. No there will be no war in heaven. In Christ Jesus we will have a higher standing than angels. In fact we get to judge angels.
Childish.
If its comforting then it must be so.
Everyone get a comfort blanket.
If it's childish to think of my loved ones not having the ills and disabilities they suffered with through life then I am happy to take that accusation.

Because it comforts me doesn't 'make it so' for you or indeed anyone else.
fiveleaves, how old are you?
You come across as a pre-teen?
I could be wrong but you talk about imaginary beings as though they are real (like harry potter fans would)
//If it's childish to think of my loved ones not having the ills and disabilities they suffered with through life then I am happy to take that accusation//
Me to Mamy.
But I know that the suffering that my loved ones have gone through is no more because they are dead (ie: exist no more) NOT because they are in some imaginary heaven (or indeed hell...which is where some of the *** deserve to be, although not eternally ;-), just maybe a little while...)
I'm not stating my age, its not relevant to the discussion.
Imaging beings to you maybe but not to me.
God, Lucifer are real. I'm a Christian, of course, I would state the heavenly realm is real. You would hardly expect me to say otherwise
//Lucifer is an angel//
No its not.
Educate yourself, dont believe what your pastor/preacher/vicar/priest/minister/ tells you. Theyve been brainwashed themselves.
Exactly Nailit, we all have differing views and that's fine.

I am 67.
Why do you think Lucifer is not angel?
