Many of the leading archaeologist will say that the Bible is fact ,,of course there are those who dispute it ,,but the more 4 than a against.
AS for me I do not think it is fake news .and we can see that the prophecies which has been explained in the Bible .is not FAKE news because if you look around the world today you will see that the and ANXIETIES {VIRUS }are in many countries now we have inner civil WARS ,ones between presidents and the people . This is prophesied many of years ago { ACT .17.31}

Believers feel that many of the prophecies in the Bible came to pass, but I have seen very little convincing evidence of this - on AB or in the real world.

How do you know that more of the leading archaeologists believe the Bible to be 'fact'?
Yawn!
I prophecy that those things will continue to be the case in the future, as, lo, they have been in the past. Feel free to add my moniker to the good book.
Archeologists say that the bible is fact? What a strange group of people to suggest that. They , of all groups, know that the bible was written a long time after the events mentioned in the bible are supposed to have occurred. Can't imagine any of them believing in the existence of Adam and Eve for example ...or water turning to wine etc etc.
Not again...
As a bible student of over 40 yrs+ YES, the bible is innacurate.
Its innacurate regarding history, prophecy, archeology, and just about anything else that you could think about.
That covers it all Nailit...!
I do not waste any of my precious time thinking about such fairytale fancies.
oh god please no
we havent even finished the first craxy Bible thread
this is ground-Hosea day
genesis - hog day

It must be true - I read it in the Bible
and yeah tomorrow
more will come and we will call them Legion
and fall down and worship the scarlet woman
Does anyone want to rip my fingernails out?
I have pliers
The bible is anything but 'news'.
How can a work of fiction be considered fake news?
About a third of the Bible is prophecy. Most of the Bible's prophecies have already occurred and been proved true. I am thinking of the prophecies about Jesus is Israel, Zechariah, Micah and elsewhere.
If you add up the total of the prophecies told about Jesus if would be next to impossible for one person to have fulfilled them all, even if they were aware of all the prophecies about them and attempted to live in such a way to make them all come true.
We are living in the last days. Most people are aware that something is badly wrong but they are ignorant of what is coming.
If you think that Covid 19 has been a shock to the system, the rapture of the church will be on a different scale altogether.
However, there will be great delusion and many still will refuse to believe
somewhere in the OT
there is a prediction of that scene from Airplane

you know where the victim screams and says she can bear it anymore and the passengers queue up to slap her
Fiveleaves, do you think you will be one of the ones who will come out of the rapture grinning? If so, could you possibly put in a word to God for me? 'Please, God, he called himself atheist, but he was usually polite and claimed that he never did anyone any harm, apart from you, wh he didn't believe in.
// About a third of the Bible is prophecy.
moot
a third of the OT predicts the NT and a third of the NT predicts sort of now?
Time was when the whole of the OT was considered to be a prequel of the NT - that time has er passed

Most of the Bible's prophecies have already occurred and been proved true. No they havent!

I am thinking of the prophecies about Jesus is Israel, Zechariah, Micah and elsewhere. - - - erm NT may well have been er adjusted to take this into effect
three wise men for example - star above bethlehem

If you add up the total of the prophecies told about Jesus if would be next to impossible for one person to have fulfilled them all,
tendentious rubbish
come on tell us - - do the math

thank you
acts 17 31
For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

I see no date stamp - later perhaps
Locusts, we can all say that anxiety, viruses, wars... will exist for as long as humans do.
Did "the prophesies" give names, dates or details? If not... I am distinctly unimpressed.
Why not just take in the actual news fella instead of getting your so called information about today from that dusty old tome.

You've got 1000 channels, Ultra High Definition, Surround Sound, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and every flavour you can think of, web, print, TV, radio and even word of mouth for the old school.

If the apocalypse happens, CNN will be the first to know not the Pope and we'll all watch it in full colour and text each other about it afterwards till the phones go off, until then I shouldn't worry about it if I was you.

Who?
Locusts, are you going to respond to the several queries asking about your knowledge of the 'leading archaeologists'?
