What a breath of fresh air these two are. So pleasant and unassuming. I think they're doing a great job in helping to raise morale in these troubled times. All credit to them.

'What say you?' I say I totally agree. I have always admired William and Kate and they just get better and better. I always have a big smile on my face whenever they appear in the news and I love it when Kate posts pictures of her gorgeous brood. A real credit to our country, especially now.

i think they do it because they like it, they come across as genuine down to earth people. I know they are royalty but that never seems to crop up

Just a thought but oor Kate IS 'common people'.

You can't fake the happiness that oozes out of Kate. I think she was born to this role, she brings a breath of fresh air into the Royal Family . I have great respect for Prince Charles, however, when the time comes, if they skipped a generation and allowed this lovely couple to become King and Queen before they are in their 70's it would be the best thing that could happened to the UK for a long time.

What spoils it for me is the extended family sucking up money from the public purse.
An elected apolitical head of state would be better, but given the status quo, William and Kate do their best and deserve their popularity and affection.
