Yes, indeed. Well done, brexiters.
it was always going to be expensive; even JRM was talking about not seeing results for 50 years (before they shut him up). I would have said sooner than that, but more than 10 years. Just sorting out trade deals will take a decade or so (business can go on before that happens but we needn't expect any mutually preferential deals), I get the feeling most Brexiters have all their money safely invested, or else have none and expect Brexit will magically provide it.

But yes, it has cost and will continue to. I think even Brexiters know this, they just think it will be worth it.
Business insider? What has Brexit got to do with an American "financial newsite". Perhaps they are afraid that we are going to do rather well at their expense. Plus.......very big plus....It is owned by the German publishing house Axel Springer SE. Bless. Forgot to turn off the project lies and fear programme then.
But even if there is any truth in it, and we'll leave that to future debate, cheap at 200x the price to get control back. Well done those MPs and PMs that betrayed the country and handed sovereignty over to the EU over the years, and wanted it to remain that way, and even get worse.
A damned sight cheaper than staying in.

Money that could have been spent better, eg: the homeless.
Good point Jackdaw.

How much do we give the EU in all its forms and not get back? And how much more would we be giving (had we stayed) when we lose big chunks of our rebates and such like?

How much extra would we have had to pay for the EU army? The bail outs of brassic EU countries?

This is what the remainers ignore and skirt round by pretending it won’t happen when we all have heard what the EU officials have been saying.

I agree Sharon, how irresponsible of the Europhile politicians to ensure a price had to be spent to reverse their infamy. They should all be residing in the Tower by now. Still the nation will be able to progress on the right path from here on.
Short answer: Worth every penny.

Longer answer:

The article is highly speculative and incomplete. It says nothing of the upsides to Brexit of which there are many.
Lightbulbs, paint stripper and weed killer to name but 3!
Feel the width and keep the faith - the pie is just beyond the horizon, about 30,000 feet up so should loom into sight before long.....well, that's the way the story goes.
You're welcome Cloverjo ..
It doesn't matter, the path is set now.

The Brexiteers among us will think that any price was worth us leaving the EU. Having said that, it doesn't matter what forecasts and predictions are made, they will don their conspiracy hats and call them fake.

But there's no point fighting it now. We have to put up with it, and if it all does go pear shaped, we can say "I told you so" then.
is the price of sour grapes going up too?
Hey, if you guys can be so lacking in class and compassion in winning, we can be butthurt, sore losers!
Sounds like another septic in drag.^^

I don't even own any dresses.

Be fair, Zacs, only ever the lightbulbs for me, only the lightbulbs.

You'll be delighted to know that over the past few weeks I have invested in some new LED bulbs. Not out of choice, you understand, but of necessity. I had largely given up trying to obtain proper replacements for the expired ones I have. Not easy. I wanted about six different varieties but could not get all of them without using three different suppliers. But I've fallen in line. :-)
Remainers have been butThirty, sore losers from day one.

We’ve been subjected to constant weeping and gnashing of teeth for three years. Now it looks like we have actually won (as opposed to a technical win) you complain we are bad winners.
