I hope this link works. I wonder how many of you can watch the whole video and still justify drinking milk, eating cheese... or eating beef?
I can not accept the argument of gaining produce via a local farm. If you are not vegan you pay for this... in your crisps, wine and cereal products etc.

Please watch the whole video if you can

I know it's a FB link but it should work for those without FB x

Whys that Zacs? Yes he is a loud mouth ex con but all he is doing here is voicing an opinion on a video released by Surge.

This is the film without Mr Carbstrong for those who don't like him ;)

I’m sure there’s a lot of truth in what he says but his name alone suggests he’s actually being ironic.
His name is Joseph Armstrong.

One last try on a link that works for all.

We can all find links to support our arguments / lifestyle choices (well, some seem to struggle but enough of that for now). Citing someone going by the name Carbstrong isn’t a very sound one.

Ok.
Being vegan is not about the environment.

'Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.' [definition from the vegan society]

Yes, the majority of vegans are sensitive to environmental issues but for me as all vegans, it's about the animals.

Have you watched the video yet?
Confused now - do I put milk in my teas and coffees?
Or just feel guilt?
No I haven’t watched the video. I’m pretty sure it shows animal cruelty which is designed to encourage reduced (or zero) meat consumption. As a bit of background, my uncle was a dairy farmer, so I have a little knowledge of the business. I was also taken to see how black pudding was made when I was about 8 years old (a schoolfriend’s father was a butcher and we went on a class trip) and although it took me about 30 years till I could eat the stuff, neither situation put me off eating meat.
Recently I’ve begun to eat less meat, mainly for health reasons which is something I’ve come to via my own reckoning rather than media pressure. And certainly not by someone called Mr Carbstrong!

Fair enough. If the name of someone you have never met enables you to carry on regardless and not watch the video there is little point in us carrying on a conversation. Peace x
Question Author
@theland I don't know, watch the video then you tell me x
I hare black coffee and tea! Which way to go?
Hate ^^^
Peace indeed. The name did put me off as it’s clearly ridiculous. If you want to make a point, make sure it’s based on sensible, wellfounded principles, not someone with a made up name who appears to be taking the pee.

The only reason I used that version of the footage is that Mr Armstrong narrates it well and the viewer has to see less of the graphic content. I particularly agree with the bit where he says [words to the affect of 'this is the norm in uk farming'.

Like I said, watch the video without the commentary here

I thought you weren’t carrying on the conversation?
And this is why people dislike vegans!
