Mr Google suggest that, while there's no doubt that Stormzy is a deist, he's never indicated any clear allegiance to a particular faith.

The web is full of things like this:
"The rapper has never addressed his religion openly although he has consistently expressed his faith and spirituality through his music. His single ‘Blinded By Your Frace Pt. 2’, is an ode to his religious side and he frequently makes references to God. This has led people to believing he is a Christian"

Does it matter?
Nope. Religion never matters.
It does matter to those who are strong believers. I know it matters to Stormzy.
Religion matters a lot to those who spend their time sorting at the pigeon holes .....
His private beliefs are just that. Private.
It ought not matter to anyone else.
I don't think (das all we can do) stormzy is religious in the slightest. Spiritual? Maybe.
Am I correct in thinking this Stormzy character sang ,'**** Boris' in some lyrics he sang at a recent pop festival? If so I would suggest he is not very Christian, however, I am happy to stand corrected if I have got the wrong person.
Same person.

it doesnt matter and youre right , i was just confused as i thought he was christian because the album cover makes reference to jesus and the last supper ( google it ) but the song is sung in a london estate with clearly muslim kids singing along and surely muslim kids would not sing along side a christian or sing a christian song.

You're making the assumption that all Muslims are fanatical terrorist types - they're not!
//You're making the assumption that all Muslims are fanatical terrorist types - they're not!//

I can see no assumption of that being made by pumpjack at all. Only in your imagination.
I don't believe that Muslim kids on a London estate would wish to be heard ,by their peers, singing Christian songs though.

Try reading this - // ... surely muslim kids would not sing along side a christian or sing a christian song. //

There is no assumption in my response to that observation.
I think kids in London aren't that all religious, you know. I find not many younger generations are religious, especially dedicated to their religion.

All the Muslims in my secondary school kept to things like "don't eat pork" but there was a gay Muslim lad in my school. His family and community accepted him.

I think people talk a lot about things they really don't understand, know about or see in day to day life.
I take issue with the term "Music". He does talking, occasionally bordering on poetry, sometimes in rhyme. Pam Ayres is better.
I've never heard of him.
Why would Muslims not sing alongside a Christian? I bet if you checked out the religious demographic of many choirs and bands you'll find people of all religious persuasions in them, it's crazy to think otherwise.
Am I imagining you didn't write this ? //You're making the assumption that all Muslims are fanatical terrorist types - they're not//
You wrote that and are putting words in pumpjack's mouth as I see it.
I suppose the East London girls from Bethnal Green were singing 'Onward Christian Soldiers'as they marched off to join Daesh in Syria!
"I take issue with the term "Music". "

He has a no.1. He's actually had many. He's headlines os many places, he is a British Icon. It's a shame you're unable to appreciate his music, or even the fact he's done very well for himself and the British music industry.
