Why In Most Establishments They Don't Greet Women Only The Guys With Them? Example: You Walk In A Restaurant With Your Boyfriend And The Doorman/waiter Only Said "good Evening Sir" But Not To The Girlfriend As If She's Invisible.

I wouldn't expect it to make much difference. Having been a past smoker.... I carried on because I was addicted, not because I ever believed it was good for me. The nagging just goes over your head after a while and you get immune to it. Telling people what they already know over and over again just seems daft.

Amazing how it has changed! I remember, when I was at school ,every teachers desk had an ash tray ! There was even an 'Ash Monitor' a child who had to empty the fag pan ready for the next teacher ! Try getting away with that now !

I can remember smoking in hospitals...

I can't remember ever as a child teachers ever smoking whilst taking class... but do remember going into the staff room...at one school. blimey it was like the film The Fog.

Cups of tea everywhere... gosh it was frightening
