This was posted on my FB page today by a friend. I'm not sure if these statements are true or not, but sure the good folk on here will let me know.
Don't listen to what Brexiteers say, watch what they do:
Jacob Rees-Mogg - Launches two investment funds in Dublin.
John Redwood - Advises investors to pull money out of UK.
Steve Baker - Invests £70K in a firm that encourages people to buy gold to avoid the disastrous economic impact of Brexit.
Nigel Lawson - Applies for French residency.
Nigel Farage - Gets his kids German passports.
Christopher Chandler, founder of the pro-Brexit Legatum Institute - Buys a Maltese EU passport.
The rich and the powerful can make money trading on the upheaval of Brexit, or simply move abroad. Meanwhile, the poorest will be pushed into destitution.

Facebook are cracking down on "fake news" promising to highlight truth from fiction by the end of the year for every post. If they can.. it would be good. There is a LOT of fake news on facebook.. people can make up any quote, put the text next to a photo of any famous person and claim it's a quote! I hate it.. it's as bad as chain mail

If Nigel Farage's first wife is German and their children are entitled to dual nationality then why shouldn't they have German passports.
A friend of ours is married to a Spanish born husband who has lived and worked here most of his life. He has not got a UK pssport,as far as I know but his three Enlish born children have dual passports.
Suprising how many English born people are digging out old relatives that entitle them to Irish Passports.
I suppose it is a kind of insurance if the Europeans want to play hardball with British travellers post Brexit.

I make no comment on whether any or all of the things mentioned in the list are reasonable. I was merely interested in demonstrating that they are, at least, accurate (apart from the last one, which seems far more dubious). What conclusions should be drawn from them is up to you -- and, to be sure, I can't say I'm fussed much about Farage's children's passports either.

The odd thing created is that you can rely on it ( as one grandparent is sufficient - but they have to be born in the 26 counties before 1922 innit?) but your children can't ( gt grandparents see) - that is you cant pass on your kids.
and digging up - well on a train I met a lady with two Viet children who were seeking British nationality as at the time the 26 counties were part of the united kingdom .... and the difficulty was when the Law Courts was occupied by those gallant freedom fighters - yup they used birth registers as barricades and so some were burnt.
The father had naturalised and served with the Marines in Vietnam - semper fi babies. The kids were deffo Viet - I used the Duke of edinburgh test.
