Drones - Who Needs Them?

Why did this stupid government allow the sale of drones?
Apart from the emergency services, who needs them?
Who needs a gun?
What a daft government, and so dangerous!

Can't see how you can stop anyone buying them over the internet...from abroad they must be easy to obtain. It's only the idiot few IMO who use them for bad purpose, I think they are a wonderful invention, but like everything else the wrong hands....well say n'more!

Why shouldn't they allow the sale of drones? In the early days they were simply the extension of radio-controlled aircraft with a camera attached to get interesting photos; no reason to ban them.

You could just as easily argue they should ban the sale of cell-phones; nobody really needs them (we managed without them for decades) and they can be used to organise crimes/riots etc.

There are many good uses for drones such as surveying of rooftop damage without scaffolding. Agree that they should be restricted though if they can bring an airport down.
