No....I'm far too lazy :-)

There's nothing I feel that passionate about. If I were in Ireland I might have left the house for a 'pro choice' march.
fox hunt... in Herts.. we were arrested but let go with no action..bit of a pat on the back from plod !
No but I have done other things in support of better control on fireworks....campaigned online, been in the local press and so on.
It's worked, Woof, hasn't it? I remember when we could buy fireworks in the supermarket.
Yes, ironically for CND. I was 15 or 16. A gang of us went to London on a coach because there were bands playing that we wanted to see(The Damned and the newly formed Style Council)and our mate organised it(Mummy and Daddy were a ‘right on’ pair of hippies and Chris our mate went on to become a Social Worker).
My mate Steve(The Damned fan) was gutted because by the time our section of the march arrived at the venue they’d already been inside he missed them.
We didn’t tell our parents where we were going for the day, we were proper rebels!
Quite a feat considering we were traveling from North Wales.
we still can here !

Our supermarkets still sell fireworks.
Should read: been on and he missed them.

Predictive text throws up some drivel at times.
Yes.
As a student, against cuts/fees......the usual.
Post-education = Gay Pride (when it had a more political dimension), Gay Pride (when it had more of a 'party-feel').
Match against Clause 28.
I'm sure I've missed something out.....
Morrisons used to have a pop up stand on the build up to bonfire night. They don't do it anymore.
Naturally, that should be March, etc...
No- I have always believed there are much more effective ways to influence others or make my beliefs heard.

Chilldoubt, haha! Your heart was really in it then. :o)
Pride for me too but have also been involved in the letters to MPs type campaigning as well
I took part in a number of Poll Tax protest marches. I also refused to pay my Poll Tax for quite some time, resulting in fines and more fines. In the end, they took it straight from my wages and i ended up paying much more than the original sum. Would i do it again? You bet i would.
It has worked to a degree (fireworks control) Legal controls are still (IMO) inadequate but yes I think people are becoming slowly more sensitive about their use. The campaign is asking for more control over when private fireworks can be sold or used.....so only used on New Year, Bonfire night itself, and Diwali and only sold for very short periods before the allowed dates. Public displays would be unaffected. But I digress....
My dog was terrified of them. He'd wrap himself round my head.
Only as a student re grants. I marched through Colchester but it was more because my friends did rather than passion. I was quite comfortable on my full grant.
Several times in the protest about Pit closures, picketed during the '72 and '74 strikes but not in '84 strike a by then I'd advanced out of the N.U.M.
my dogs hate them too ummm. They get prescription meds to manage it....which is fine on set dates when you know it will happen but pretty useless when they happen out of the blue, hence the campaign....also round here we have had a spate of teenagers throwing fireworks at horses, both ridden and the ponies who run free in the Forest.
