Recently, a Spanish police dog performed CPR on his partner. The police officer pretended to collapse to see how Poncho, the dog would react and he immediately started administrating chest compressions.

I think he's a smashing dog, so amazing! Many years ago I was out walking the family dog when a larger dog attacked him and I was really scared as I was only a kid. I then saw two other dogs running towards us and my heart dropped as I thought they were going to join in, BUT they attacked the bigger dog and chased him off. Impressive but he's trained to do it.
LOL...it is entertaining...no more...no less.
The compressions were not firm enough and the mouth to mouth was totally inadequate.
Good fun though.
My Dad's dog brought a baby squirrel in once, poor little half dead things, fussed about around it for a bit then picked it up and took it to the cat, we think because the cat had just had kittens and had milk, and the cat fed it and reared it. Neither of them hurt it at all and my brother had it for yonks.
I one saw a dog 'driving' the milk man's float.

My cat brought a live mouse in and put it down to eat his dinner. I wouldn't call that clever though - the mouse hopped it pronto - free to live another day. :o)

Nameless, do you have a Link please?
I posted this a while ago in Chatterbank but it deserves another airing here.

Cheers Mamya - brilliant :-)
It's lovely to watch - as is your video Naomi, had to watch it again and marvel at how moving it is.
Years ago we adopted a tiny kitten in Tehran. She was amazingly clever, and her favourite trick was to hang onto the door handle of our apartment and let herself out so that she could join us in the garden. Took us ages to work out what she was doing.
I was amazed at the nerve of the dog who decided to take a lump out of my leg!!
Naomi, that was amazing.
I remember being told years ago by a teacher that animals have no feelings for each other, apart from possibly a mother for her children. So pleased and excited to see that it wasn’t true.
Wonderful. Thank you.
Jennykenny, I've never thought that true. Wish I could talk to the animals. :o)
Thanks for BA Nameless.

It probably doesn't qualify as "amazing" but I once witnessed a fat camel at the safari park being violently and copiously sick on the bonnet and windscreen of a shiny new white Mercedes- I did feel sorry for the creature, but the driver's expression and the sheer volume of the camel's casual vomiting has been an image that has remained with me many years later. I don't know if the creature picked his spot, but it certainly couldn't have been better aimed if he tried.
