It seems to be a fairly recent phenomenon, this apparent obsession with a huge derriere. Why? Where did it originate, and what is attractive about a posterior that’s ballooned out of proportion? Why has it become an in-your-face display thing (think of the current moneysupermarket ads)? And does anybody else loathe it as much as I do?
