I thought it was great sandy. She looked so happy. Was very pleased that Henry Cecil's widow had a winner too.
Delighted for her like your use of fillip, sandy
I think it's great too, a monarch's horse has never won before, I'm very happy for her.
It was good watching her. I wish she'd have punched the air or something, she looked absolutely delighted didn't she?
Can't decide if Sandy's fillip comment is a clever pun or not.....

Either way, as a non-royalist who hates horse-racing, I'm glad the Queen had a good day. I wonder if she's down at the bookies now collecting her cash
DId Fred Puli tip this as a winner ?
The champagne will be flowing from the taps tonight at the Castle. Well done Her Maj's nags, jockey and stable team - the jockey was banned for the next two days - was that a result of Estimate wandering off course or another race?
DT, if he's got a ban, it won't kick in for a while. It may have been whip abuse.
Yes she did Sandy. And I thought it was lovely.
Royalist or not, that woman needs to be acknowledged and appreciated for her dedication to the country. And what a lovely end to a lovely 12+ months of celebration for her. And a future Monarch waiting to be born.

No Annus Horriblis, this last one.
they said the next two days re the ban, think it was barging, sibs.......
I thought it was lovely.

I didn't know she could smile.

It's just desserts for all that time she spent looking after the horse.
headwreck, I bloody well hope not, I had £20 on the 2nd horse

Kiki-frog, it was a deliberate pun. Whether it was 'clever' you'll have to decide :-)
Nah, jockeys ain't that sentimental when it comes to winning a race like that

It was bloody brilliant! ( and yes I am a royalist).
