I stood up the last time they played the 'national anthem' at the cinema!
Not at all. I was born here, it was an accident.
Patriotism is a disease IMO. The stuff that wars are made of.
I think you may find that people have different views of what patriotism means.

In my experience a lot of self-declared patriots think it means love of Britain's countryside and certain selected institutions like the monarchy.

I would argue that a country is in reallity the sum of it's people

Unfortunately most 'patriots' seem to detest the majority of their fellow countrymen.

Ap, I was planned.
My dad flies a flag on his flag pole. He flies the Union flag most of the year (the right way up) and St George's flag for SGD. I have told him I shall get him a skull and cross bones.
When you're all done questioning Highbrow's right to ask what he likes here, you could always try answering the question.
I actually dislike patriotism Highbrow. As AP says, it's the stuff that wars are made of and anyway, imagine someone "won" the whole world. Where exactly do you go if you don't like it?
It's a tiny thing we live on. We should just get on with it.

I don't patronize anyone. I do like that William fella his name speaks for himself.
23 questions and only 1 answer............do you have communication problems?
Can anything be stupider than that a man has the right to kill me because he lives on the other side of a river and his ruler has a quarrel with mine, though I have not quarrelled with him?

Hey barmaid
