I took the test "Make Bradford British-Features-Channel 4 Citizenship Test" and failed miserably with only 8% in spite of having a grammar school education and a Matriculation certificate plus a Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
Does anybody know where I can obtain the correct answers, please?
I am 80 years old and am a born and bred Londoner

I failed too Robert! My score was 36% :-(

I reckon that even the Queen would fail this test. Whoever concocted it must have badly wanted to keep immigrants out
There's a crib book of questions and answers available.I forget the title. I bought one, just to make sure I could stay after 65 years and being born here to British citizens! I can assure you that the questions in the book were just as daft as those in the Channel 4 test. Apart from the strange questions about demographics, one asked when women got the vote. That's tricky, because women got the vote in 1918 but not all women did; they had to be thirty years old then, inter alia. The rest had to wait until 1928. Like the Bank Holiday question in Channel 4's quiz, there was room for misunderstanding or argument.
I got 42% shows how little I know
Dont even know which ones I got right so cant help you robert
Hi robert...it looks like we all failed.

At least I've got an excuse-I wasn't born here!
if you did the ch4 one, it tells you at the top which ones were right/wrong, what the right answers were and how many people percentage wise chose each answer
If thats the way its prensented then its very artful.

If you were sitting it for real you would study as I have no doubt a real person wishing citizenship would and I bet there are citizen classes.

58% so I fail as well.
I got 58% too, so at least I'm half British - mind you a lot were guesses.
A couple of hours of study would ensure a better result though.
im confused how many bank holidays are there - i put 8 but they are saying its 4? are xmas and easter the only recogniozed bank hols then?
I think they must be differentiating between national Holidays, (Xmas, easter etc) and designated bank holidays. But that one caught me too as I lumped them all together and said 8.
