After watching make Bradford British i decided i would take the test. I failed and only got 54%. Government guildlines require a score of 75% and above. I am english and have lived here all my life.

I would be interested to see what score others get.

Sorry dont have a link but if you go on ch4 website its on there.

Thanks, Kathryn x

I agree with gill1941.A daft test.I think it's more important that they should be able to speak English or be willing to learn it. It costs a great deal to employ interpreters.Do migrants have to sit a driving test in this country before being allowed to drive? Wonder if this test is written in different languages??

Oh dear; 33%!
I passed the last time this question came up

but please see my comments here regarding the stupidity of some of the questions!

I passed last time as well. Don't know if I dare do it in case I fail this time. Would that mean I am less British than I was last year?

Sorry didnt know it had already been asked. xx
58%
Dunno. I got timed out on the first question ! Didn't realise it was timed per question and didn't calculate the percentage of UK population in Scotland quickly enough . Why don't they ask 'How many people live in Scotland' instead ?
It doesn't do any harm to mention it again, Kat.

Anyway, the Guardian and Channel 4 websites have a different set of questions. I passed with the Guardian ones but failed (13/24 = 54%) with the Channel 4 questions!

FredPuli43 love that!!
i failed 3 times. 52%34%and 30% i was born and bred in britain and i failed it......
58%. Was expecting questions on the British Isles, its geography and history etc, not obscure Governmental data!
I scored 50% and OH scored 46% ...whoops
different questions this time, Chris
Benefits rules are only necessary to know if you are going to claim them. What a farce!
50% for me.
incidentally, I failed again. But is it right (Q9) to say there are four bank holidays? The official site says six, and that's what I said...

Would anyone wanting to become a UK citizen REALLY want or need to know the discount on a TV licence for a blind person?

Utter cack!
Isn't there 8 bank holidays?
I scored 50%, which although I'm Irish not English is crazy. None of those questions have ANYTHING to do with being British, they're just freaky statistical things no-one I know would have a clue about.
