It has worked in Brazil , though they embraced the idea .

It teaches us to be tolerant of other peoples beliefs and customs. To accept that not everyone is the same, but should be treated equally.

Probably worked in Brazil because the population with it's separate demographs has been built up over the last 500 years, added to the fact that the country is almost 75% Catholic.
48% consider themselves White, 43% Brown (multicultural) and almost 7% deem themselves Black.
IMHO the fact that the country is heavily RC is the reason it 'works'.

Blacks hate whites, Whites hate Blacks, Americans hate Mexicans, different African states hate other African states, Muslim Country's hate other Arab Country's, its never ending and will never end, IMHO!!!
