just come back from a funeral where the nextdoor neighbour (chinese) refused to let the hearse park outside her house as its supposed to be unlucky !! any truth in it ?????

yes it's unlucky for the relatives that had to park up the street as no parking space left.

loads of spaces & no yellow lines....she actually requested someone park their car in front of her house to make certain the hearse couldnt park...

If she requested that someone park in front of her house to prevent the hearse from parking there then I can't see how she was being awkward.

I think I would prefer not to have a 'loaded' hearse park in front of my house.
I know that after going to a funeral or to a cemetery you're not to go straight back to the house - just kill time to shake off the bad spirits. So I'm guessing she wasn't being awkward.

this was the same chinese woman who blamed the next door neighbour for her husband getting prostrate cancer because they had an asbestos roof on their shed.....

id have told her to do one...last thing you need at a funeral is that load of nonsense...besides its not her road and she has no rights...
