I heard that Traudl Junge was the personal prisoner of a Russian General for several years and raped repeatedly.
wouldn't be at all surprised 123everton if the reports of the Russian treatment of women after the fall of Berlin are anything to go by the fate of any woman who fell into their hands must have been pretty dire to say the least
In all fairness the Germans got off lightly with the Russians, their treatment of the Slavs as "liberators", occupiers and especially in retreat was truly appalling.
At least when the Russians entered Berlin they made some effort to feed the population, Hitler made none he even planned to turn Stalingrad into a lake after enslaving the people.
Hey everton ever heard of the Berlin airlift.
Read 'A woman in Berlin' by <anonymous>. Details the treatment in general of the Berlin womanfolk by the Russians during and after the 'liberation' of Berlin.
