can't justify it but apparently his wife was asking for a divorce, fancy conning your bloke out of a holiday and then dropping that on him, he was wrong, he murdered his son and hurt his daughter, but I bet his wife feels a total ***** right about now.

yeah dot, you are right, the wife in question was very wrong to go on holiday in the first place, god only knows what sort of cr*p those poor children had to witness on their so called holiday. very wrong to go in the first place, god help her now!
Impossible to pass comment without all relevant facts.

A tragedy for all the family.

i agree ethel..way too much going on there, just had to make a comment of some sort cos im really upset about it...thanks for comments.
The bloke was reportedly p.ss.d. If he had a grouch against his misses,he should have thrown her over, not two poor kids
He may have been depressed and thats fair enough but if he chooses to throw himself off a balcony thats one thing but did his kids get to choose wether they wanted to end their lives,at 6 and 2 i think not!

Yep,the kids got no choice, you're right IAP,punishing the partner seems to be the reason for a lot of these things, but the kids are the ones who lose in the end, usually their lives!xx
I have no sympathy whatsoever for the megalomanic little sh1te.
As someone said earlier this is not about being depresed ('I've suffered form severe depression and anger problems my whole life) it's about power over his partner. It's about making her suffer and now he's bleating for sympathy because he too is suffering, yet again making himself the centre of attention. What a disgusting individual.
I can't believe that anyone is trying to blame his wife for this or even make her partly culpable. You have the man's personality laid out for you on a platter, selfish, inconsiderate, controlling, cruel, vindictive etc etc etc
No doubt the holiday was a last ditch attempt to patch things up and seeing this was not going to work she asked for a divorce AS IS HER RIGHT.
I hated my ex wife, but I didn't go jumping off balconies with my kids because I honour their existance and f*ck up though I may be, I do see other people's rights to exist in the way that they want to, with or without me as their husband.
I sincerely hope that he is jailed for a very long time and that all the people he's in jail with give him some of the attention that he so obviously craves... every day.
I hope his poor wife manges to find some closure in time without the unwarranted guilt she must feel now.
The moment he involved his children in his narcissistic act of self destruction, he lost any sympathy he may have gained from me for his plight.

I hope his wife ensures his access to their surviving daughter is terminated until he has progressed beyond his immature, dramatic gesture stage of life. Somehow, I doubt he ever will.
I totally agree with Nox here, you couldn't have said it better. I am glad this sad excuse for human being didn't die in the fall, because now he will have to live with the guilt of ruining so many people's lives, people who should have been dearest to him.I hope he spends the rest of his life in prison and suffers at least as much as he made his wife and daughter suffer, if that's even possible. God bless the poor wee lad.
No matter what the details are of the relationship, I find it impossible to feel sorry for this guy.

Killing yourself, I suppose, you can feel sorry for the level of despair someone is facing.
I could almost understand lashing out at his wife, although it is not something I would condone.
Picking up his young kids and throwing himself off? No way that can be understood or condoned IMO

well said everyone...thanks
He should have gone on his own. But of course this wasn't about him wanting to end his life per se, it was about him wanting revenge.

I have no sympathy whatsoever. I hope he experiences a living hell, the selfish bastad.
why did,nt just through his self of threre why the children i have no smpathy for him is the little girl stiil alive? what a thing to have to live with
No one can DEFINATELY say what they would or would not do if they were put in a "situation". We can all condemn him as much as we like, but nobody knows what it was like to be him at that time or how he felt.
I feel as upset and angry as everyone else, however knowing the British justice system he will probably end up facing manslaughter charges instead of murder and claim diminished responsibility!! Let me be the prime minister for a year and people like this will face the gas chamber PDQ!
